Ok, my '89 TII is running pretty bad. I had some people tell me it was a T.P.S. Wich made plenty of scence. Well I just put a new T.P.S. on and no diffrence!!! It's still dumping MASS amounts of fuel into the engine and it still sounds like I am only running on one or two plugs. I just put new wires on. One thing I can think of is the O2 sensor. I just put a new one from Bosh in when me and unique TII put in my downpipe, I was driving it home that night just fine then BAM!!! It all started, and yes I was getting on it pretty good when it happened. It dosent sound blown, I can still drive around but I have very little power. When I downshift and let it wrap down it sounds fine. My turbo is spooling like crazy 'cause it thinks i'm wraped up, but i'm not. Any ideas????????????????????????????????

i would say vacuum leak. most of the "quirks" can be eliminated by fixing all the vacuum leaks

I just disconnected my O2sensor, and it runs EXACTLY the same, think I could have melted the new one?

have you thought about checking your fuel plates... if one becomes "frozen" it can really alter fuel delivery... a similar problem happend to my 89 GXL about 4 months ago. :bigthumg:

hey here is a wierd one. When my car was running good I had a check engine light on, but now that it's running like crap, it went off, it turned off as soon as it started doing all this!!! that's odd!!!
