Hey, now that my GTX is "cough" running...its getting on my nerves. I only got to mess w/ it a lil the other day and I THOUGHT everything was ok. Well, I replaced the thermo that was leaking, so thats fixed, but it doesn't wanna idle due to compression in the rear rotor. I'm gonna keep trying to bump it and using ATF to free the rotor(it just spins). The front rotor is fine though...I'm able to drive the car around the parking lot, kinda. There is some coolant leaking down near the lower intake manifold..or at least thats where it looks like. A buddy of mine said that the "O" ring in the intake port my be busted or torn and is letting coolant slip by...anybody have any other ideas where it can be coming from? I really don't want to tear down the block just to get to that lil ring unless its completely necessary! HELP!

Could be your heater core hose. The one near the TB, Check that. Coolant doens't runs through your intake manifold ( except for the thermo wax which is only the TB and couldn't get in ) And if it was a water gasket or seal (?)internally,( like between the housings), that would suck. Yea, I'm gonna check all those first chance I get. I've gotta detail the accent I've been driving tom, because I'm selling it to pay off the SE-X project. Now that I think about it, I bet your right...I bet its the hose running from the thermo...since I did just replace that, maybe I misplaced the hose or didn't tighten it, etc...I'll let ya know.

I didn't get a chance to rev it up, the shop owner didn't want to annoy the neighboring shops... :(
