ok i got some more problems. when i first got the car everything was fine except for a real bad hotstart problem. they all started when i out the newer injectors in. the first problem is they were low and stock is high. i put the resistors in like i was suppose to. the car ran like crap down low but great up top. i did a compression test and only got 30psi on the rear. the onlything i can think is i either did the test wrong or the tester was broken. i thought maybe if i swap back to the stock injectors i would know if it was blown or not. i put the stock high impedence injectors back in and now the car won't hardley run at all. pops a whole lot, i hit the gas and about 3 seconds later the car will rev and it won't hold an idle. i did leave the low impedence injectors in the secondaries though. is there any problem doing this? if not what else could be my problem? im lost. please help me asap

Sounds to me like the motor might actually only have 30 psi compression.

Having the low impedance injectors in the secondaries shouldnt affect the idle.

I'm not sure what else it could be besides either a flooding condition on the rear rotor, or a seal has stuck or gone bad. :(

yeah i dont see how your injectors affect the compression tester?

if he ran with the wrong impedance injectors for secondary injectors, i mean actually drove like that and got on it to try out the secondary injectors... isnt it possible he caused detonation to occur.

the compression test results are a sure sign of engine damage, if you got good compression on one rotor and significantly worse on the other, theres probably something wrong.

i know the injectors don't effect the compression. i need to knwo why when i went back to the stock injectors in the primaries im now having all these problems. i need to drive the car to a friends to rebuild the engine. with the low impedence it just runs rough. i put the stock ones back in and now it will barely run at all. the only thing i can think of is i reused the o-rings on the injecotrs (they were replaced when i put in the low impedence less than 100 miles ago) could they not be sealing or somehting?

Like Pengaru said, If one rotor got good compression and the other didnt, it sounds blown https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...O_DIR#>/11.gif

I'm not sure how going back to the old injectors did anything, but a lot of blown engines have a terrible to no bottom end at all but will still pull fairly hard at the top end.

if you put low impedance injectors into a high impedance car it will run lean

He claimed to have added the resistors so it wouldnt. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/dunno.gif

yah, maybe it popped of its own accord
