My series 5 engine has blowen but I can get a brand new series 4 engine would it be better to rebild the s5 or just throw in th s4 with the s5s turbo and efi is it going to make much difference

you could swap all the s5 stuff onto the s4 block and it would work but i would probably just rebuild the s5 block. but thats my opinion

It would still have similar power with the S5 stuff on it too.

S5 has beefier internals. You will have to change the front cover for electric OMP.

As you may know I'm rebuilding my s5. My dad's friend has new rotors and housings laying around and he said he'd give me two of each if I paid for shipping. The problem is that they are s4 parts. Would that work to use everything from an s5 except for s4 rotors and housings? If not what would I need?

It should work fine.Just remember to keep the S5 front cover.If you plan on using your electrical OMP.Which might be a good idea seeing as you are rebuilding the engine.Premixing would be good to do too.
