You're making me want to make my manifold now. <_< |
The problem right now is the downpipe and the BOV.
I need to make a downpipe for it. I was thinking of getting the other half of the vclap flange and clap from turbonetics, looks like the cheapest place. Get a 3" downpipe from thurderfabrication and run a stright pipe from the turbo to the stock location of the 3"downpipe, ( cut the 3 hole flange and welded as one piece) The only problem with this is when it come time for emmision testing i need to put back the cat, so i'll have to cut the pipe again to put my cat back on and put back the pipe as a mid pipe when done. Had anyone used thunderfabriation. I have asked them as what type of metal is used for their downpipe and they haven't been specific with the metal type or number. I want something thick like racing beat downpipes, that will out-last the car. The other problem is reusing my apex bov, i have the kit not the universal kit on my car. I need to get a aluminun flange for it but apex doesnt sell it by itself. I think may have to try to make one or get a new cheap bov. C |
