While working on the T2, I have removed the power steering but plan on keeping the A/C. This left me with a giant bracket that looked nasty and blocked my way into parts of the engine bay. So, I modified it.

Luckily my neighbor across the street has a small metal shop in his garage. He does metal art, has welders, chop saws, etc. Lots of fun to be had there!

Pics below.

Still need to grind on it a little and clean it up. Will post the reassembled pics when done.

I'm going to help the same neighbor build a chopper. We were inspired by American Chopper.

banzaitoyota 09-02-2003 05:12 PM

Why not just get a AC Only bracket? Good work though

Nemesis 09-02-2003 05:14 PM

Using the chopsaw was fun and FREE!!! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

isamu 09-02-2003 05:26 PM

Looks good.

I wouldn't minde relocating the PS where the AC was.

Than it would be out of the way for intercooler piping and such.

Apex13B 09-02-2003 07:42 PM

I'm gonna do that now, with a mill though

FrestyleFC3S 09-02-2003 09:04 PM

why not just remove it https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

banzaitoyota 09-02-2003 09:07 PM

Because I like having AC!
