I don't know what brand the K2RD is but I assume the difference is the same as the brake lines (one is DOT and the other is race only). Does anyone know what K2RD uses? The Goodrich is ($48) $20 more unless someone knows a cheaper place? I want to oder these tomorrow so I can throw my engine back in.

it will work fine.

I think they make it themselves, of course you could always e-mail K2RD
|
Well I guess I could have called them but i'm on a tight budget and I ordered it first thing this moring. I was just worried about the safety issue of it not being DOT approved. It doesn't matter on race cars because they are torn down and inspected every race but how often will I inspect my brake lines. Thanks for the replies. I think I posted in the wrong section, oh well.

No, I got the K2RD one. I barely had enough to buy what I needed. Damn another two weeks of sandwhiches and top ramon. :( |
There is no such thing as a DOT-approved clutch line.
If the clutch line fails, you can't shift normally. -Ted |
