helped my friend rxchx7 down the street. had to do fix so much stuff. take off intake manifold. make sure all the vacuum lines were hooked up. cap some that weren't capped for some reason. fix an about to break coolant hose. car is running now although he needs a new battery. idle is low have to raise it up a little right now its at 650rpm. anyway i am happy to see the car move after sitting for a few months. i did a boost check in 2nd gear. in 2nd gear he is getting spiking to 10psi then comes down to 7-8psi with just the apexi n1 dual exhaust. he has an hks downpipe but i told him not to install it yet or he is gonna need a new engine soon https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png s13srmadness has some pix he was with us since its his little brother's car :bigthumg:

haha, i killed my battery in the T2 this weekend, lol. last week i was putting in a new air vent and had the interior light on cause the basement is too dark...well, close the car doors and forgot about it...went to start it up this weekend and it was TOTALLY dead. but it was a good excuse to clean all the connections, put on new terminal harness' and charge it up https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

Vosko gave the car the kiss of death!

By the way, buy Die Hard Gold batteries you cheap bastids, it can sit in the dead of winter with the factory alarm on for 2-3 months and still start the car right up when you need it.

rotary>piston 02-04-2003 07:40 PM

when I was waiting for my header, my car was up on blocks (unrunnable because of the missing manifold) for 2 months, and started right up. I didn't even think about the battery during that time,

Apex13B 02-04-2003 08:58 PM

i've also had luck with die hard and ac delco batteries...the acdelco ones for some reason like the cold and can sit for months and still hold a charge

vosko 02-05-2003 12:40 AM

personally i like interstate batteries
