oh, and drift=illegal.

Manarino 02-12-2004 06:01 PM

Thanks for the advice. I've read initial D, as well as played the arcade game and watch the anime. Lol but who cares if drifting is illegal, so's street racing and that doesn't stop anyone.

INTIAL D ISNT THE CORE OF DRIFITNG ITS QUITE POSSIBLY THE WORST EXAMPLE EVER TO BASE DRIFITNG AROUND, NONE OF YOU ARE ANY CHARACTERS FROM THE SHOW.

Thats nice, I'd rather not be a two dimensionl drawing thanks. But if I wanted an opinion about Initial D from some dumbass like you, I'd name the topic something like "What do dumbasses think about Initial D?". Is it named that though? No, so keep your opinions to yourself.

g_dripht-alex 02-12-2004 06:24 PM

so im a dumbass? k. go hop on another bandwagon.

Manarino 02-12-2004 06:30 PM

Ha, That's almost an insult. Almost. Well, now I've found my first ignore list entry, thanks for the help!

Ass. Look, use Brandon Drecksradge's links. Get a remaned engine from Mazda. It is worth it, and comes with a warranty. I would start with a STOCK engine first, no port jobs, and see how a stock engine runs, how it feels. Reason being, you will buy a remaned streeport, or bridgeport or whatever and just be like this suck, this is slow. Start out small, then go big, wait for the drifting, you will need an LSD, and good tires, lightening your car. Just do it one step at a time. I will be running my FC stock, no bolt ons, no port jobs, except for a drop in air filter from K&N, just to see the limits of the engine, my 1/4 mile times(they will be low), my top speeds. My car is pretty much going to be a 2 year project when all said and done. Completely redone from top to bottom.

Just my advice, take it or leave it, start small, dream small, then go big and dream big. And good luck.

Will you be buying this car? And if it were me, I would pass it up, unless it is below 500 bucks, because a blown coolant seal, or blow apex seal, is a big pain in the ass, and costs alot of money. Even if you do it yourself. FC's are a dime a dozen, and can be found all the time.

By the way a 3 rotor twin turbo will cost alot of money. When I mean alot, I don't mean 3-5 grand. Talking 8 grand. That ballpark figure. Good luck. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

BrandonDrecksage 02-12-2004 09:28 PM

its actually my car that he may buy

have you seen the pics....car is really clean...just the seals :( hence I have to get rid of my FC, I don't want to though

rowtareh 02-12-2004 09:40 PM

Ooooh, he is a lucky buyer. I think your car is sweet. If I could, I would buy yours. It is a 91? But blown seals equals headaches and money. But then I will need a rebuild in about a year.

Good luck selling it. By the way, I am not sure, did the 91 come with Limited Slip Differential? I just don't want the hassle when and if I spin out, one wheel will be going. That would just be haggard.

Thanks

Justin

Thanks for the help Justin. I probably am just going with a remanufactured 13B engine for now. Later I'll get a 3 rotor, but for now I need to keep it simple. I don't have a shitload of money to send right now anyway. Thanks again though.
