What should I include in my tune up? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683473.gif

Try a google search for the factory service manuals. I found a link where I downloaded the manuals (Adobe). One of the chapters in the manual has services and service intervals. Someone here may even have a link bookmarked, but i don't.

Okay so....
-oil change -differencial change -coolant flush & fill -clutch oil -brake fluid A good start? (I hate to ask but what kind of oil... I know it's debated a bit) Thanks! |
here is a good link to tune up information. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/ind...howtopic=15723
For engine oil use 20w-50 during summer and 10w-30 during winter. dont use syntetics, i like royal purple. and use MTL-90 in the tranny and diff. |

Don't forget that tranny fluid & spark plugs too bud. You don't have to run that expensive royal purple. I use Castrol GTX 10W-30 in winter, 20W-50 only when it's hotter than 50 all the time. |
Awsome thanks! Er.... How many quarts does it take to change oil... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683664.gif
|
5ish? something like that.
do 4, measure, add, start, run, turn off, check, add. |
Thanks all I can't wait to do a good tune up next week https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.gif

I just bought the hynes, so I hope it helps! Can't wait to get started next weekend https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.gif. I think my list will work well.

The car needs a little body work (rusty fenders) but is in pretty good shape for a 20 year old car.
