blinking clock is a standard option, you can't order it without that feature.

Sweet congrats! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.gif Take care of it.

Go give it a oil change, tune up and good detail job. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

Rotary_Engaged 04-03-2007 08:33 PM

What should I include in my tune up? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683473.gif

Helios16v 04-03-2007 09:31 PM

Try a google search for the factory service manuals. I found a link where I downloaded the manuals (Adobe). One of the chapters in the manual has services and service intervals. Someone here may even have a link bookmarked, but i don't.

Rotary_Engaged 04-03-2007 10:31 PM

Okay so....

-oil change

-differencial change

-coolant flush & fill

-clutch oil

-brake fluid

A good start? (I hate to ask but what kind of oil... I know it's debated a bit) Thanks!

fcmazdarx7 04-03-2007 10:47 PM

here is a good link to tune up information. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/ind...howtopic=15723

For engine oil use 20w-50 during summer and 10w-30 during winter. dont use syntetics, i like royal purple. and use MTL-90 in the tranny and diff.

Don't forget that tranny fluid & spark plugs too bud.

You don't have to run that expensive royal purple. I use Castrol GTX 10W-30 in winter,

20W-50 only when it's hotter than 50 all the time.

Rotary_Engaged 04-04-2007 10:02 PM

Awsome thanks! Er.... How many quarts does it take to change oil... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683664.gif

Leetheslacker 04-04-2007 10:43 PM

5ish? something like that.

do 4, measure, add, start, run, turn off, check, add.

Rotary_Engaged 04-05-2007 09:23 PM

Thanks all I can't wait to do a good tune up next week https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.gif

Rotary_Engaged 04-06-2007 08:47 PM

I just bought the hynes, so I hope it helps! Can't wait to get started next weekend https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.gif. I think my list will work well.

Rotary_Engaged 04-08-2007 10:45 PM

The car needs a little body work (rusty fenders) but is in pretty good shape for a 20 year old car.
