so i jus got back from my 26hr drive to montreal canada to get my motor, all im gonna say is long drive and too much coffe. but anyway i got a n319ecu and was wondering if i wanted to put a rtek chipped ecu in, there wouldnt be any problems with plugging an n332 in would there? thanks
|
the n319 is the jdm equivalent to the us n332 ecu. big difference is the egr, japanese car doesnt have it.
|
well its cuz i wanna put an rtek chip on for a time being and they dont put it on the n319 so i was wondering if the n332 would do the job. how would i get around that easily to put the n332 in? do i have to add one?
|
does anyone know if the n319 was high imp or low imp?

does anyone know if the n319 was high imp or low imp? they add a resistor pack on the low impedance cars, so the ecu always sees high impedance |
is the wiring for the ecu's on the opposite sides, because its RHD? if so whatd everyone do to get around this, i have an idea in mind but i wanna hear other ways too

its an 88 10ae, but the wiring is opposite? so i will have to extend the main ecu harness or move the ecu over to the left side so it will reach right? because i thought that on the usdm verison the main ecu harness went into the passenger side of the firewall and the underdash went into the driver, but on the jdm motor i put the main ecu harness through the driver side and was jus gonna drill a hole thru the firewall so i could put it thru the driver side as well

Extending it is going to be really tetious, I would try to find a harness from an N/A and use that, or a TII (hell any S4 car). The left side of the car is where you sit, if you put an ECU under your pedal set you won't be able to use them properly. |
