I'm wondering which spark plugs i should use on my j-spec blowthrough series 4 turbo 2 engine.

Any reccomendations? Would i have to take into account that its j-spec?

Thanks

I don't exactly know what blow thre means https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif but I would stick with NGK plugs, I want to know what kind of improvement or advantage if any if you run HKS plugs. I know rx7.com runs them, I think they run colder plug. But where do you get the HKS plug? I think they are $25 each plug. As far as i know their are no differnces in the Jspec or US engines when it comes to plugs. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

theres actually no difference between the usa motor and the jdm motor, except there a couple really minor emissions differences

.....

They dont.

But if they did, the differences in emissions equipment could well account for the difference in horsepower. Remember what happened to horsepower between the late 1960's and the mid-1970's when emissions legislation killed the muscle-car era? Granted, automotive engineers were able to figure out how to make a powerful cleaner-burning engine, but it took 30 years to do it. In general, a U.S. spec. engine will make less power because of more stringent emissions requirements.

the jdm cars have no precat, and thats good for the 5hp difference

https://www.nopistons.com/forums/index.php?...showtopic=23674 in this picture the midpipe has 3 differant... bulges can someone tell me what those three buldges are because in my previous exhaust... i only had a catlyic converter on there so there was only one buldge lol... is that one cat and two resonators?
