Ok so i got a weird stumble at 2100rpm or in there somewhere. Only happens sometimes and doesnt matter if its wot or slowly climbing. It does seem to happen more when im doing about 60 or around there and just holding it around that rpm. basicly ill be going and itll stop accelerating and i hear it start popping from the exhuast for a few seconds then it will start to accelerate again. So i have an almost new tps that was adjusted but i guess it could have gone out of wack? I dont think its be a fuel filter since it doesnt happen at higher rpm where itd generaly be needing more fuel, so what else to look at? and it just started this morning on way to work, drove car yesterday and it was completly fine.

I'd vote TPS.

Is your AFM in the stock level position?

Im not sure if the vert is boosted or not. If it is Id say check the small line going from between the hot and cold side of the turbo to the TID. That spot is prone to cracking if it isnt aftermarket and screws up the ECU something fierce.

Im starting to think its a spark plug or wire. I'll find out tomorrow on my day off. The range of it has got worse so far.

i'm thinking afm, but it could be wires too

So i called in today, cleaned the plugs up some cars running slightly smoother. havent drove yet to see if it really did help. The afm is striaght and level, the connections tight on it and never been messed with. what else would i look for? Also i noticed my return fuel line is cracking again, Does this happen a lot on other fcs? Ive replaced it twice so far within 6 months because of this. Oddly the feed line doesnt have the same problem and is the one actualy touching the block. Now i get to go to old work and see if i can get some parts ordered at cost.

yea i was thinking plugs and/or wires.

your return hose cracking is odd, any fluids dripping on it.

no fluids dripping on it at all so im not sure what could be causing it. Some people have said the fuel vapors could be making it worse but id think itd be the same on each line then. I may just make some hard lines if it keeps happening id rather be safe then suddenly have it fail.

teknics 09-16-2006 08:41 PM

switch to some braided lines and be done with it https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png. it most somehow be absorbing lots of extra heat or something.
