Ok so I know that I'm going to sound like a complete idiot posting this, and I accept that, but I need someone to help me out cuz I'm about to break something.
I have, obviously, a 1988 Mazda RX-7, not turbo. Since I've had the car, I have not had my interior dome light working. So I finally checked it out and there was no light bulb in the housing. So checking my handy Haynes manual, I went out and bought a 10 watt bulb that is supposed to fit the housing - Sylvania DE3175. Now my Haynes manual didn't specify exactly how to put the bulb in because they expect you to have some common sense. Well I cannot for the life of me figure out how to put this damn thing in. The housing seems all messed up as if there is something missing. There are no clamps, no plastic pieces or anything that will hold the bulb in place. So I'm guessing the person who owned the car before me screwed something up. And after 4 hours of searching on the internet, I cannot find one damn picture of what the housing is "supposed" to look like. Someone PLEASE help me figure out what the hell I'm supposed to be doing. Thanks.
