they other day iluvmy88 told me about starion IC's, so i checked up on ebay and found you can pick one up for about 100-200 bucks in good condition. So now im trying to figure out how to get the plumbing done. I dont want to use all rubber, thats the thing. Yea, I'm selling ILuv my starion IC...its in GREAT shape. As for the piping, all you'll need to do is get some prebent piping, which can be purchased from Summit Racing...its not really chrome though. If you want, check w/ APEXi/HSK/GReddy and see if they offer the tubing... I think that www.horsepowerfreaks.com may have some too...then you'll just need to have some mounting brackets done up and you can silicon couplers which are about $8 a peice from a local auto shop....

You could have a shop make the tube for you, then you could have it chromed or polished. I know of some shops that would make them, but it would obviously be alot cheaper to see if someone either makes it, or you can do it yourself to save the labor.

I just looked on www.horsepowerfreaks.com and they do sell prebent IC pipes(from HKS I believe) so when you get the IC, all you'll have to do is measure what kind of bends you'll need.



The starion ICs are usually only good for about 15psi...the one I'm selling Iluv88 was pressure tested @ 15psi and had no leaks and according to the previous owner he saw no reason why it couldn't hold more...but I never got a chance to try it out on my SE-X....I'm going GReddy now https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

My plan is to just use some mandrel bent aluminum piping. I might order it from horsepowerfreaks.com.

If you guys can make the shape in anything, **** it can be paper mache' for all I care, I have someone who can make the pipes for you no problem, and VERY reasonable at that.

Iluv88...there is ONE problem w/ the starion ICs...they have like a 1.75" inlet/outlet...which in my opinion is too small...so you may need/want to have a larger inlet/outlet cut and welded onto it...it wouldn't be hard, and the shop that was gonna do it for me said about $30 is all it'd take...
