I havent been tinkering or researching rotaries for long, and i try to do more research than tinkering, but I've reached a stopping point.

So I have a couple of questions for you rotary pros out there:

I'm thinking of upgrading my intake/exhaust system so my rex will breathe better. How far can I go without having to bypass the fuel management computer?

Whats the best system for the money, and what do I tell my dad so he doesnt think its all for power?

I have the Bonez cold air intake on mine and the APEXi N1 cat back single exhaust system on mine but cork sport has a good one for less money.

But what you are going to tell your father is another story.

tell your dad that your current system is clogged and its decreasing your gas mileage, so you need to change it to get better gas economy. and a catback system costs less than a stock replacement from the dealer.

Buy the K&N cone and the adapter plate. Much cheaper then the others and gives the same results. THere was a link somewhere on here that compared the different intakes. maybe someone who has it can post it.

As for exhaust, most are expensive. I went the cheap route and got a pacesetter. I want to change it soon though. The corksport exhaust looks nice and good price.

I am going to get this one when they make a dual.

I have sound clips from one if you want them give me your email.

From what i have heard, they are not going to make a dual one from cork sport.. I am thinking about selling mine and getting that one too. Only because the body kit i am getting has the exhaust opening on the drivers side.
