I have Bosch 1680 injectors and they will fit in the stock fuel rail.... All you need to do is buzz off the plastic on the top (feed side) of the injector with a dremel tool and use the stock O-ring. You can have a custom rail made, but there is no need.... I run 4 x 1680's and I've never had a problem with the tweaking I had to do..
anyway |
BTW: the cheapest place I found for Bosch injectors is www.injectors.com
Marren Motorsports I think 1680's are like 79.00 each or less |
site no workie...and im looking for 1600cc
|
whats the difference when you get that large...1600-1680...samething
tray this: www.injector.com ( with out the (s) ) |
|
so would it even matter if theyre 1680 or 1600 .... the 1680s are cheaper here anyways
|
Yup, and like I said there only 73.00 each.....Beat that price.. And so far I haven't had any problem with the injectors I bought from them either....2 summers running them now I think
Cheap!!! |

I may drop down to 4 x 1200's, but we'll see. I like all the injectors the same CC...Just a preference. Get the injectors and if you need help buzz'n them down let me know....Its really easy |

What would be the advantage to getting an aftermarket rail like the K2RD one? Why would they even make one if you can fit 1600cc injectors in the stock rail? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/unsure.png

Hey Mr. Revin-7,
Sorry to hear about the zap'd motor https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683621.gif but ya its a cool site, but you know me......Underground Brad...friend of the community There isn't any advantage to a K2rd fuel rail, and I'm not saying its bad idea... At first I was going to honed out the stock rail, but I didn't have access to the shop for a week and got pissy so I decided to drag out the dremel tool and went to town.....and lookey, it worked..... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/BURNOUT.gif |

1Revin 7,
I don't know when Its getting put away...My buddy from PR is coming upi Saturday to finish tuning...Were shotting for 22psi. He's pretty sharp with the ignition timing. After Saturday I'm ripping the motor down to the block and cleaning **** up and re-wiring the ECU so its looks perty.... 1680's: after you buzz the 1680's you use the stock O-rings on he feed side...On the pental cap side you use the same O-ring that fits into the air bleeder socket.... make sense?....look at that how thingy below.... |
