i own a 1988 celica all-trac turbo equipped with a (stock) first generation 3s-gte. an upgrade listed on alltrac.net is nippondenso mazda rx-7 single turbo injectors, part #195500-2020.

on alltrac.net they are listed at 550cc. rotary resurrection agrees, and says they came in the 89-91 13B T and are purple topped (i hate going by colors, mainly because i'm color-blind and also because it's never accurate).

anyway. does anyone make drop in injector that flows better? does anyone know where i can get either upgraded injectors, or the 550cc ones?

thanks guys!

I believe RC Engineering could fix you up quite nicely. I'm currently running a set of their 750 cc/min injectors as secondaries, and the stock 550's after they cleaned and flow tested them.

is the Gen I 3SGTE topfeed or sidefeed? i have an MR2 Turbo, which is sidefeed, but i don't know if the Gen I engines have the same injector setup. i know they have many differences with the head so ...

RC Engineering is good. Marren Motorspodrts is good. however, have you checked with Wolfkatz?

1st gens are top feed. the 1st gen fuel system is considered better by some; but i really don't know why, and don't have any concrete evidence to back that. i'm soon to find out though https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

i've found a few sites that have venom fuel injectors, and they have them listed for my car. strangely enough they share injectors with the ma70 supra, which makes absolutely no sense to me. can anyone confirm or deny this? or, in other words, do the ma70 supra and the 89-91 fc3s t2 share injectors?

i hear celica all-trac's are fun to do clutches on, i think the labor time is 24 hours.

try looking at Marren fuel injection, i believe their site is injector.com.

kevin.

yeah. somewhere around that. my local shop says 26 hrs.

you have to drop the motor. except you can't drop the motor, because you can't remove anything from the car DOWN it all has to come UP.

anyway. it's all worth it.

hopefully when i get done i can beat my friend's FC3S-T2; except i know i can't.

lookin' up marrin right now.

i believe they are 440 cc and 550 cc, respectively. so no.

my apologies. i meant design. would rx-7 injectors drop in to an ma70, and would ma70 injectors drop into an rx

I could be wrong but I think 550cc is the stock form for all TIIs not just S5s. I think the only difference is in the plug. S5s being oval I believe?

Im trying to think about this when half asleep so dont shoot me if im wrong.

I would imagine they would drop right in as long as your harness will fit.

550 is indeed stock for all TII's. i'm not entirely sure about the plug, but i know that the s4 is a low impedence and the s5 is a high impedence.
