Ok, since I'm down to the last few days w/ my conversion, I'll feel confident enough to give you all an idea of what it takes, lol. Here is a list of what I did to convert my '88 SE to a '91 GTX:

REMOVED

13B NA motor, tranny, rear end, halfshafts, motor wiring harness, dash harness, interior harnesses, ECU, instrument cluster, exhaust, driveshaft, fuel pump, hood, A/C, and center console. Thats all I really took out...there was a bunch of little stuff.

INSTALLED

13BT GTX motor, GTX tranny, 87T2 driveshaft, 90T2 rear end, 90T2 halfshafts, 89NA dash and interior harness, 90T2 ECU, 90T2 hood, turbo exhaust, FD fuel pump, 89NA center console, FCD, clutch, turbo timer, boost controller, and thats all I can think of right off the top of my head...but I know theres more.

I got my motor from FC3S.org and the parts I HAD to find to get the motor running were an AFM, charge relief valve(BOV), clutch, and thats really it. The motor came pretty complete..but the IC is bent to hell.

A lot of little work and hard to find parts went into doing this. So far its cost just under $4000 for those of you who are thinking about doing this, but I have faith that it can be done for about $2500..its just that I bought a lot of expensive peices to go with the new motor...like the exhaust, clutch, turbo timer and boost controller, and a lot of misc little aftermarket things. Ok this post is probably getting really long, but I know many of you think about doing this conversion, and I just thought I'd share...its only taken me 4 months so far https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...>/rolleyes.gif

so ur going to have a complete write up of everything on ur website? but sounds ok, i think i will still do it, but i have hear a lot of bad stuff about J-spec engines, and how a lot of them die after like 2g. Would it be a better choice just to go with a quality rebuild over here, just a some more $$$, right?

Yea, I'll a more in depth website when rx7life.com gets its server back up..that freeservers thing was annoying. Well, if my motor dies in 2000 miles...I'll probably rebuild it, or see if I can get vendor to get me a new one for free.... FC3S.org and dave gibson have been really nice and helpful...and I highly recommend them.
