hey everyone, I'm back in san antonio.... for those who do remember me and those who don't, I had moved to Rhode Island and was gonna be there for a year...things didn't work out, so I came back to my car...

well anyways, I am having a few problems with my car that I can't seem to figure out....I drive an 88 turbo ii BTW...

1. None of my interior lights work, at all....the fuse isn't shot, couldn't find any loose wires (that's prolly what it is), now I'm stumped... (interior lights meaning gauge lights, air control lights) my dome, door, hatch, and all other lights work....

2. Tach doesn't work.... I checked all the wires and they are fine, even pulled the dash apart and gave a look around in there.... It common for the Tachometer to give out?

3. and my final problem for now is does anyone know a good site (other then hitman) for downloading haltech maps? the map i have from hitman is working pretty good on my car... and day by day I'm learning more and more about programming the haltech... but I want to download a couple other maps to see how they run....

Did you check all the fuses, inside the car, and in the engine compartment?

yeah, i sure did..... all of them are good.....before the lights went out completly they would go on and off when hitting bumps or hitting the dash.... which leads me strongly to believe loose wire... but I looked through the dash the best I could in 100 degree weather <_< didn't find and loose wires.... I'll just have to dig completly through the wires and see what I come up with

The interior light problem is probably due to the headlight switch harness. The problem with the tach could be something with the wiring at the trailing coils.
