Well this is the second time this happened.......I started my car in the driveway, let it warm up for a alittle bit. Then backed it up out of the driveway, almost hit a stray cat, and stalled my car avoiding it....Anyways, that damn thing wouldnt start for almost 2 hours....Whats the deal? It just does this sometimes, i was getting gas one day, and it didnt wanna kick back over.....I tried disconnecting the battery, but nothing. The car will crank and crank, but doest fire. Maybe something with oil pressure?? My omp is on its way out i belive, would that have anything to do with it.??? BTW the car is an 88 turbo2 completly stock with 135k on it, but it runs awesome....sorta

Sounds like you flooded it. If it wants to turn over but isnt then you flooded it. Does it smell like gas? Take your spark plugs and turn it over a few times. It should work after that!

pull ur egi fuse, crank the motor with your foot on the pedal for a good 15 secs. put egi fuse back in. car should start. if it doesnt. do the procedure again.

If you suspect your OMP is going, you should be running premix!!

your fuel pump relay is under the dash, i wired a switch in the control circuit of the relay so I could turn it off for a couple seconds if the motor flooded. worked like a charm

Thanks for all the help guys, yea it smells like fuel, I originally thought it was a flooding problem too. Anyone got anymore info on making the switch or cut off, so I dont have to pull the spark plug everytime? I saw the EGi fuse thing, but Im not sure where that is yet, im a serious n00b here https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png But Thanks very much for the help as always yall!
