Well, I got my new Koyo radiator today, install went smoothly, and then came time to bleed the air system, when I backed out the air bleed screw it seperated into 2 pieces and left one piece blocking the passage threaded into the 3-5 threads deep. I contacted the shop I got it from and they are sorta like, uh....you gotta get a new radiator to get the plug they dont sell em seperate..LOL...I am assuming I can dick around and find something that will fit, even a screw, but does anyone know if like a 3rd gen plug from mazdatrix would do the trick? The 2nd gen one is just a tad too large, but the 3rd gen bleeder piece looks just about right..
Anyways, I can always weld over it or something and bleed the air out the radiator cap.... |

I you are that worried, leave it in there, weld an aluminum nut on there with the matching bolt. |
you can just use a bolt
|
You can buy an aluminum bung and plug from summit, take the Koyo to a welder and have them weld in a new bung.
|
you said bung

I said to hell with it, didnt feel like dicking with it, busted out the welder and its now going to be air bled through the radiator cap....
