Occasionally I have a problem with my idle, It jumps up to 1200 sometimes as high as 1800, and stays there. This is after the car is at operating temp and has been running for at least 15 minutes.

Any suggestions on what would cause this?

The problem also seems to be weather related, like when it's colder. But not necessarly.

Could it be the thermal wax pellet?

Thanks

Shay

I don't think the pellet would cause this.. I was thinking the thermowax on the TB? That would probably make it stick at high idle though from startup.

yah its possible its the wax pellet, they can stick, and if it has an air pubble there it will also idle high

This may sound stupid but how would I go about bleeding the air out of the system?

If you do the TB mod, you can eliminate it all together.
