ONCE I can even get the biatch started, and it's warmed up, the idle keeps revving itself between 1,500 and 1,700. Before the Fuel-Pump fuse blew and I was all clueless about that, it ran PERFECT and idled PERFECT at 900rpm that day, but now, it's just being stupid! When I first got it started it did it, and so I tried to loosen the throttle cable and loosen that screw, but it made no difference. Then LATER that day (yesterday), it idled so low that it kept dying until it was warmed up, at which point it idled at like 700rpm. Then today, I start her up after 10 minutes of priming fuel into the motor, and it was doing the rev **** again! What the hell is going on?

TPS or vacuum leak. The TPS is notorius for being a 100% POS.

The TPS came with the '88 motor, but the previous owner says he had no problems with it himself. All I did was put it on my S5 core, everything else besides the housings and rotors themselves are S4, including the OMP, so wtf? Some people are saying it could my Vortech Fuel-Pressure Regulator that's making me idle weird, and making the car hard to start?
