Ok well i have 90 GTU with racing beat headers and no cats, 2 Dinomax mufflers, I even added a magna flow muffler to my st8 pipes in the middle and its still loud!!!
have any idea how to quiet my car down with a really nice sound without having to loose speed at the same time??? |
Racing Beat

There is no free lunch. You trade noise for a reduction in back pressure. From what I've heard, Racing Beat products are the best compromise--excellent performance and not too loud.

run true duals and have a pre-silencer for each runner. i would recommend the borla XR-1. and muffler with two in and two out, something that has seperate chambers.
|
you think anythin with a presilencer would be nice???
and is racing beat pretty quiet??? an i know borla soundsnice but i have a feeling its still pretty loud |
depends on the exhaust set up and diameter. You can have your cake and eat it too, but it's gonna take some green.

I think the RB presilencer makes a big difference in sound. It doesn't just quiet it down, it reduces the tinny, chainsaw sound that you could have with cats or straight pipes.

Get a highflow converter, its just as quiet if not a bit more quiet then a pre-silencer, and your car will still be legal.
