does anyone have any rules and regs for local auto cross or where i could get them... cause i am very interested in gutting the mazda for race and getting a DD... that way i dont really have to worry about emisions.

It depends on what sanctioning body ur goin w/ SCCA..NASA, etc?? You should be able to find their rules online...

MazdaEnthused 09-28-2003 07:47 PM

ok i'm gonna see if i can get some info on some local stuff

Don't forget that you'll have to buy a tow vehicle and trailer now...

MazdaEnthused 09-28-2003 08:52 PM

wait why? cause i'm seriously gonna make my own track around town and start racing all over the place ...

FCmaniac 09-28-2003 09:06 PM

If you're talking SCCA, you can gut everything behind the front seats and be legal for street prepared.. You'd probably be in ASP if you put just a exhaust and dp on anyway.. and turning the boost up puts you in prepared class IIRC. Ask Jims5543 if you're serious about it.

well minus the tow vehicle and trailor i would be but i'm sorta just looking for a place to play around kinda thing (keep in mind i'm only 16)
