Not exactly, but I am looking at some fuel managements systems. Obviously the biggest one is APEXi S-AFC...I like this one a lot, but I was reading about GReddy's new E-manage system..I like that one becuase you can use a computer and view maps and graphs, and blah blah...and its something I won't have to mount in direct view. Also, I'm thinking about the APEXi PowerFC...whats the good, bad, or ugly on all these systems? Anybody wanna reccomend one over another...which one is the best one for me to use for a HIGHLY(when i finish that is) modified turbo seven? Any info on any of these systems is appreciated...

You have an 89-91 motor and ECU, right? If so then if you're going to spend the money for a PFC you should just get a standlone system. A standalone system will give you the greatest flexibility.

I thought about that too, but unfortunately, I have an ugly court situation now that is costing me more then I wanted it to and I have to cut back on spending for the gtx. It'll be about another 3 or 4 months before I can start adding the bigger turbo, fuel mods, etc...so I just wanted to get something to hold me over til then... is the Haltech the only option I really have for a standalone? Not that I dislike Haltech, I'm just curious...

A SAFC can do a good job with 4 720's. Both the Wolf 3D and AEM EMS are pretty popular.

That would work well with alot of mods, even a bigger turbo.

You need to tell people what year it's for, 87-88 or 89-91.

OK, heres the exact quote of the guy that was selling it.

JDM RX7 LATE 2GEN FCON & GCC & FEED ROM RX-7

Japanese Domestic Market Parts direct from Japan.

For the late model 2nd Generation RX7. The is the HKS F-CON fuel computer with the optional GCC

and vehicle specific harness. The ROM installed has been written by FEED, a highly respected race

tuning shop here in Japan. Comes with the injectors that the ROM was set up for. They look stock

to me but then I'm no expert. Includes a fuel cut defencer. The F-CON is installed by plugging in

the harness, mounting and plugging the pressure sensor (about the only part that I don't have) and

plugging in the FCD. The ROM is preprogrammed but there is a built-in adjustability switch accessible

from within the F-CON to compensate for alterations to the HKS staged upgrades. Extra tuning for

the F-CON is done with the Graphic Control Computer (GCC). The GCC plugs into FCON harness and lets

you adjust the fuel pulse duration at specific rpm intervals and/or boost levels. At each of the five

intervals, the GCC can richen or lean-out the programmed fuel curve. The GCC will interpolate or

average between points of adjustment to ensure a smooth fuel delivery. This is a very cool setup.

I thought about splitting it up and listing the parts separately but I just couldn't do it. If you

wanted to replace this heres an idea of cost. The F-CON unit is $990, ROM by FEED is $300 , the GCC

cost $500+, FCD $60, Used Injectors $60. The only part that is missing is the pressure sensor.

You'll need to get the directly from HKS.
