i have rubber aeroquip hose that is rated to 200 psi. Stainless is a waste of money and you will never be able to get them clean. Unless you are pulling 150 psi oil pressure constantly.

high pressure isn't the only reason o have ss lines, I like them for abraison resistance too. If you ask me, you can never "over-do" your coolant system or your oil system. an extra 30 bucks is worth the assurance to me, even if I won't ever use it.

https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif I kno man, keep that **** away from your wireing. it's like a hack saw

yeah, and god forbid you fishhook your fingers on it

its not an extra 30 bucks...its an extra 100 bucks. Just buy the corksport ones. I really hope frestyle that you aren't one of those people that believe a 14 pass .000000001 nanometer oil filter is good too. You CAN over do your oiling system. Concentrate on the internal oil mods on the motor first.

(the more filtration you have...the more restriction you have. just get the rocks out and its fine)

apex ---- i know what ur saying and i pretty much took care of it all.....i just want to get a set of the lines too to help out even more

ive taken care of internal mods.... i used weber jets in replace of the bearing and spring on the oil jets....i have done the thermal pellet...and i used a racing beat oil baffle plate in there too

soooo i have pretty much all internal oil work done i think .....and im upgrading my oil cooler soon

Apex13B 10-21-2003 08:12 PM

have you looked at the oil galleys and made sure they where de-burred, and where there any sharp corners that you smoothed out?. Did you put a small amount wheel bearing grease on the oil pump rotors? did you check tip/ rotor clearance on the oil pump? you dont need a bigger oil cooler unless you are at le mans. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png the fc's oil cooler is huge

ps i keep on forgetting to put my name on posts lol

FrestyleFC3S 10-21-2003 08:18 PM

yeah i made sure i checked the oil pump clearances well...it all measured out and i had perfect clearance on the chain too

thank god
