Ok i need some help. First off is a carb set up better than fuel injection. And second if fuel injection is better where can i buy a kit for a 89 rx-7 vert.

fuel injection is better, what do you mean a kit? something that plugs into the stock wiring? http://www.k2rd.com/Online_Catalog/Haltech/plugin.html.

Only a poorly adjusted carb will run rich, when you say it runs rich, is it because the fumes coming out the exaust stink alot? That might be due to the fact that it probably has all its emissions removed, no converters, even with fuel injection it will still run rich. These cars arent known for thier clean exaust you know.

No i say it runs rich becuase its giving it too much gas.

He is feeding you a line of ****, I have owned and still own carburated cars, adjusting the air/fuel mixture on that Edelbrock carb that is on that thing, which is nothing more then a Carter AFB carb that has been around longer then any of us, is a matter of turning 2 screws, even then you can change the jets on a Edelbrock carburator without even taking the carb apart, they even sell a jet kit for this purpose. The car is running rich because it has no emissions on it, ported, a header, exaust, etc. Have you not been paying any attention to everyone with a N/A talking about how much thier cars 'stink'??? Even the turbo guys exaust stinks too, but at least its a bit quieter. ORRRRR you can believe the guy trying to unload a car on you, your choice.

well i know the exhuast and **** stinks without the emissions **** and it all opened up i dont care about that i just dont want it getting to much fuel. So i guess its not hard to adjust that carb to give out less fuel if indeed that is the problem? or am i completly missing the point?

Your missing the point, if the carb could be adjusted so the car would run right, why wouldnt the guy do it already??
