j9fd3s 07-12-2006 09:24 AM

N332-18-051K list price is a mere 909.05 new. i can do 654.36 plus shipping. its an 87 style too, so you need to add or bypass the injector resistor. the 88 style is no longer available

jwteknix 07-12-2006 10:13 AM

omfg wtf r u serious how the **** can the sell a strand of wires and connectors for a 1000bucks id rather go standalone or find someone who doesn't need theirs any more. damn thats soo gay thats like the only thing i need the complete my engine bay make over. and i dont wana go stand alone

Prescription-7 07-12-2006 07:23 PM

Don't feel bad dude, I'm dying to get ahold of Rotary Resurrection, or anyone who would have one, to get a harness for my 88 vert. Lost it to that sweet FPD fire and it's too much damage to be worth trying to repair, lost a few connectors. I desperately need one ASAP.

because it takes a lot of time to build an engine harness. They were built by hand in Japan. Each strand at a time. Probably tested as well to make sure the pin/contacts were in the right spot.

You ever wonder why TVs and walkmans are no longer made in Japan? Because it costs too damn much. Their labour rates are probably 10,000 times more than what it costs the mexicans or chinese plant owners to pay their employees

Just to let you guys know the mazdaspeed motorsports price is $545.30 + shipping

Mike you got a part number for a S5TII main engine harness?

1Revvin7 07-13-2006 12:18 PM

James you should just rebuild yours then.

jwteknix 07-13-2006 12:43 PM

^^^agreed this should be tons of fun but the price has kept comin down mayb ill get lucky and find someone who just swithed to standalone. but if i rebuild it can i shot the whole thing down with degreaser before i retape it, this thing is gross and also im going to need to make new connections.

N370-18-05ZD, pricing is similar.....

mine usually would be better, but we've got people going over our books....

I'm curious where one could buy the connectors and pins. This would allow you to rebuild a brand new harness using higher quality wires with better cable jacketing.

I always thought that Japanese auto makers in the early to mid 90s used japanese companies to supply their connectors such as denso.

Oh and tyco bought amp a couple of years ago.
