OK, Now that I have the engine starting and running. I believe it is running way too rich. Here's why.



Tonight I attempted to start my car up and it was sounding like it was flooding. I feathered the gas and got it going. Sounded good other than the really high idle i got going on. I tried to pull it out of the drive and I stalled it. After I tried to get it started again, to pull back into the drive, it blew a HUGE fireball out of the exhaust side of the turbo.



What should I do? Is it running rich? Did I **** something up? Is this TPS? CAS?

Anyways...the Jspecs typically have bad injectors from sitting..I'd check though out too...along w/ the timing.

How did you get yours to start? Did you have to bump it or anything like that? Any problems at all? Where did you get your motor?

My Jspec started after cranking for about 5 seconds...

I got mine at some place in Hawthorne called Nippon Motors. They had a wide range of different motors from skyline motors to Toyota. They had a full 20B front clip for sale which my dad was interested in. Unfortunately it was automatic. :p
