well theres this guy and he says he has a bunch of cars for sale and he told me he has a 86 N/A straight body, paint, interior is all good and that the engine looks clean and all but he says it doesnt start and he selling it for 500 bucks so should i buy or not?

Rotaryman88 09-17-2003 11:35 PM

I'd go look at it...if it looks really clean, then buy it...u can get a motor done for anywhere from 1k to 4k...and have a nice clean car, but first i'd get more info on it and go check it out...

The non-starting issue could be a simple flooding problem which is easy to remedy. Go check it out first. It would be a good deal if that was the case. And like Rotaryman88 says, if needed a rebuild can be done relatively inexpensively and you would have a clean car.

just jokin i would do the same thing that rotaryman and gaze said. But if the body and paint were good i would buy it blown motor or not.

Go for it, you can never have enough parts laying around https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

If it was on the east coast, it would already be gone...
