After a complete teardown to replace what I thought were faulty housing seals. And a very disappointing realization that the car still puffed white smoke after putting it all back together. I am a happiest RX-7 owner in Utah. IT LIVES. That's right no more smoking.

At a last resort to pushing the car off a near-by cliff. And yes we have cliffs out here. I tried Castrol's radiator and block sealant. $5.00 with tax. After following the instructions cafefully and a lot of praying... The day next day I started the car. Big belch of white smoke and then less and less and less. It was just burning off the residue in the exhaust from the night before.

I own the ugliest maroon RX-7 I have seen and I love it. I drove the living **** out of that car yesterday and it wanted more. All the hard engine work and aggravation melted away. There are a few little things to work on of course, but I just have to say thanks the mike and the rest of you who have really helped on this forum.

I now plan to race Autocross here in Salt Lake City through the SCCA. PM me if any of you guys are in Utah. Buy the way, in driving yesterday I blew away two ricers, one Dodge Neon and the other a Honda Civic hatchback.

I LOVE THIS CAR

I know that the block sealant stuff is only a quick fix, but I know the o-rings are a good shape. The smoking did get less and less the more stuff I remembered where to connect. I only hope to get the racing season out of the engine. My next engine rebuild will include new or remanufactured front, middle and back plates and possibly a BRIDGEPORT!!!!!!!
