Removing the CSA won't stop the car from reving to 3K. It just won't allow the CS fluid to enter the motor. It revs up because of the Throttle body. If you do the throttle body mod and get rid of all the springs and crap that you don't need, it won't rev anymore. I removed them from my car and it doesn't rev up at all. I removed everything from the TB except the two butterfly sets and the linkage connecting the two. Works great except that when you do that, whenever you gun the car then quickly let go of the gas, the car will jerk because some of those springs help with drivability and makes the butterflies close slower than what the pedal wants.

Good luck.

Try this,

Bottom left of radiator has sensor with 2 wires on it. Disconnet the 2 wires to it. Try that next time.

the cold start fluid is different then the 3k accel warm startup caused by the AWS and BAC. as posted disconnect the 2 wires at the bottom of the rad. then it should just rev to 1500 via the thermowax.
