I Can't shift out of 2nd - Is it Tranny? or Temp?

As everyone knows, its been absolutely frigid here in CT. Temps have been anywhere from 0 to 30 degrees for the past 3 weeks.



Today, I started getting some problems with shifting into 1st and into 2nd. No problems with 3rd and 4th. It was very hard to get into 1st. I have to really force it in gear. Then same thing with 2nd, but not only is it hard to get into 2nd, but it was almost impossible to get out of it.



So, I would try to shift out of 2nd, and it would not budge, then I would re-engage 2nd, rev it up past 5k or so cruising, then try to gently shift out of 2nd again - and it would do it, but grudgingly.



If sitting still, I engage the clutch, then throw the stick from 3-4 repetedly - no problems. Then I try the same 1-2 repededly - and it is very stiff, and grudging. It does this the whole 20 minutes that my commute takes.



I have never had any reason to think that I had tranny problems before this. This is the first hint of trouble.



I have had Redline MT90 in it for 2 years now. New ACT clutch and bearing 10K ago. New slave cylinder and S/S braided line. All 10k ago.



Anyonw have any clues? Is it the Temp? Or my Synchros?
