I have to pull the engine to replace gaskets and the book says that I can remove the engine harness. Well, it looks to, after two hours of diconnecting stuff, that I need to take off the intake manifold to get to the last wires. Does anyone know "the trick" to get the harness off without taking the manifold off first. I would really like to remove the engine in one piece and then disassemble the engine inside my house.(It is kind of cold in Utah this time of year)

Well, unfortunately, you will need to take the upper systems(upper intake manifold and TB) off to get the wiring harness completely off. You will also need to remove the vaccum spider unless your nimble enough with your fingers and like pain, lol.
