Hey,

Back again. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png I am wanting to do away with the coolant hose going from the block to the TB. Should I run the hose from the water pump BAC outlet and connect it with a coupler to the outlet on the block or could I just stick a bolt in each hose and put a clamp on tight to plug it? I guess the bac hose would have to be run under the upper intake/tb but just plugging it would keep from having to stretch a hose under there. How do most people do this?

Thank,

Rob

tap the hole and put a bolt into it with teflon tape

I have a hose run on my NA but direct from that block nipple to the back of the water pump housing. Each time I pull the uim, I can see the hose looks more deteriorated. Its a tight fit and it rubs the uim. Maybe running it to the BAC and back to the water pump like stock would be better.

dont cap it off with rubber caps whatever you do, it will pop that way

So what am I gonna do?

I need to "cap" the iron that has an outlet for the heater core and the other nipple on the same iron that goes to the TB.

This is what I have done in the past.

if you dont do anything else, pack it with silicon and put a short length of hose with a bolt in it on there
