on my last oil change i changed from 10w30 to 20w50 as directed in the fsm. now when im driving it gets up to almost 60 psi. it does stay at about 50 when in park or neutral at 3000rpm like it says it should in the fsm. so how much is too much

At around 110 PSI you start killing stock oil cooler lines. Around 130 PSI, the blowby makes the car smoke a little, and oil consumption is up.

You are nowhere near the limits. I have lot of oil mods, and I see 60-65 psi at idle, and 110 psi by 3000 rpm. I have no problems, other than killing a stock oil cooler line. I replaced them with some lines I had made at a hydraulic shop, and no more problems. Oil consumption is a bit high, but it doesnt smoke.

Yea..what Mazdaspeed7 said. What you have is normal really..60psi is nothing to worry about. I'm running an 85psi OPR with braided oil lines...at 3k+ i run 85psi all the time with no blowby and the oil cooler can still handle it. I'm running GTX 10w30 nonsynthetic also...
