slammed on 17's? at least 2", that i think would begin to tuck the tires.

depending on what width and offset tire rim combo your goin with i have found only 1 inch is needed. i dropped my fc .75 all the way around and am having fender to tire rub on heavy load turns,,,,,,,,, i run 8 inch wide rims with 225 tires and had to space the rim out slightly due to the coil over suspention.

fc3sboy1, 1" is 3/4 of the way down with 17's???

Leetheslacker 02-02-2008 03:45 AM

as low as you can.

fc3sboy1 02-02-2008 07:22 AM

these are of the same car, just painted the hood and added the frount aero package, and yes this is only a .750 drop. i run JIC FLT-A2 suspention 225 ,45, 17 in frount and 255,40,17 in rear with 17x8 rims i do get fender rub on the frount under harsh bumps and heavy load turns and im at my max stiffness setings on the shocks. the sways are racingbeat. i could posibly go lower if i ran 17x7.5 frount rims but like i said there is a clearance issue on the frounts with the suspention and anyone who uses true coil overs like the jic or buddy clubs or i believe even hks knows about the issues. besides if you lower you fc lower then the frount control arms being parralel to the ground the roll center of the car goes below ground and you need to start using very very heavy frount springs to make the car handle better . there are ways around that though specialy if your car is a s4 as they have a boltable outter ball joint. randy

so i'm guessing 1.5" tanabe springs would be slammed?

fc3sboy1 02-02-2008 10:15 AM

ngejie 02-02-2008 10:46 AM

thx man

StylEmon 02-07-2008 02:34 PM

you could always roll the fenders

ShadowArtsFC3S 02-07-2008 02:41 PM

Can i see a picture of an FC with rolled fenders? I'm thinking of doing that to my FC. I ordered 5Zigen FN01R-C's 17x9 up front and 17x10 in the rear +12 offset.

xtuanxx 02-26-2008 11:17 PM

1.5in

Tanabe's should do the trick.
