j9fd3s 02-07-2003 07:45 PM

open the light, take off the black plastic covers and there are 4 phillips screws holding the lid on, super easy

mike

ROTARYROCKET7 02-07-2003 07:50 PM

corksport said i have to put some screws in casue the originals are too hard to get out and they gave me some glue can u tell me whats that about

ROTARYROCKET7 02-07-2003 07:52 PM

and some brackets

Erik 02-07-2003 08:00 PM

your old screws "should" come right out...the 6 holding on the plastic coverings around the headlight are easy...

the 4 holding on the metal pop up cover might be a tad rusted, but should come off without too much effort

and thats it...slap that thing on and do the reverse order https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

i don't see why they would give you added pieces? what do they look like?

Apex13B 02-07-2003 08:07 PM

Rob x-7 02-08-2003 10:36 AM

there is no instructions because its pretty stright forward

you bonehead, pop the hood and you will see https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

FCmaniac 02-08-2003 12:53 PM

It is easy unless the screw is stuck like Erik said. Just dont strip the damn thing.... take it easy, use some penetrant, and get some torque behind it.

ROTARYROCKET7 02-08-2003 07:20 PM

bonehead. speak for yourself. i aint 100 yrs old with a stock car now :squint:

ROTARYROCKET7 02-08-2003 07:23 PM

some of us wanna take it easy with the whip since i aint no expert or have any type of experience if i mess something up i have no $$ to fix my mistakes so i would rather as a question to make sure i can do it ok .

1Revvin7 02-08-2003 08:10 PM

Thats bumper is fuggin dope huh? I plan on getting it :bigthumg: I have the Rx7.com headlight cover, other than looking tight, i dunno if it helps.

ROTARYROCKET7 02-09-2003 12:13 AM

yeah its looks good but i really doubt that it has any performance value speed. Now what happens when u drive with the headlights up. NO air flow. Just got the breather filter to throw on the airpump once i put the K&N on..Finallly. Ima do it b4 the meeting. Looks nice that bumper i think its like 400 but u gotta get the s5 lights if you have a s4

1Revvin7 02-09-2003 09:14 AM

Any car can use that corksport bumper all you need is the s5 moldings or get the s5 fenders/moldings. $400 is awesome deal, thats the only bumper that looks good.
