As I understand (I'm only new to this forum; not to rotarys), redlineing, within reason, isn't much of a problem with rotary engines due to their lack of moving parts. Anyway, when are you redlineing exesively that cant be fixed by upshifting or moderation in the throttle??

The car has a rev limiter, but it's set higher than 7500. One option would be to get an ignition amplifier that has a built in rev limiter.

Another option would be to shift the car before you redline it

The factory ECU can be made so it has no rev limiter, but to the best of my computer/electrical skills..I could never get mine to actuall lower the limit..and believe me..I TRIED! You can get a Crane HI-6 ignition box that has a built in revlimiter..and you get better gas mileage..its win/win
