I have hot start issues with my 90 GTUs. I have checked the timing, TPS, BAC ect. Car starts fine cold. runs great on the track, but takes a couple of seconds to fire when the engine is warm/hot, then the idle is low for a moment. The engine has 10k on it.

Idle speed motor going bad? Or maybe your plug wires?

I believe the vast majority of hot start issues with these cars can be attributed to dirty fuel injectors that allow fuel to leak into the intake and thus cause an over-rich condition on hot restart.

That being said, how many miles on your injectors?

Injectors were balanced and cleaned by RC engineering, new plug wires less than 15k.

I would try adjusting the tps ever so slightly without using that 2 lights method, go like a 1/4 turn, and remember which direction you went

in so that if its no good you can turn it back.

I always adjust tps by feel

I have always used the lights as a starting point. I will give it a try and i will check the coolent temp sensor. thanks.

Changed out the water temp sensor. It seems to have done the trick. Thanks for the help.
