OK here is the thing i am trying to get the horn working. the CPU clicks when i press the horn button but the horn does not sound. I provide the horns with a 12V+ and they sound. Any recommends on what to check next?

check if you have power exiting the cpu when the horn is pressed if so just run a new wire from the horn to the cpu there no use ripping apart a hole harness just to find a frayed wire

any idea what color the horn wire on the CPU?
|
as per fsm page # 50-58 the wire out of the cpu to the horns is Green/Red

Use a test light (or a multimeter on the DC setting ) on the cable terminal at the horn on the front of the car. If the test light ilumintates (or the multimeter reads 12v), you are getting current to the horn cable terminal and maybe the problem can be the horn itself. Also In my car I added an external relay to by pass the worn horn relay at the CPU.
