What happens if u remove the relay that makes the injectors on a turboII run at high impedance? the n/a wiring harness in the car i used for motor swap doesnt have plug for it but i was told u didnt need to change that part of harness....do i need it?

so what kinda t2 motor you have? the 86-87.5 cars have low impedance injectors and the resistor, and the 87.5-91 cars just have high impedance injectors.

can i get the injectors out of an 88 n/a motor or a newer n/a motor?
|
or, should i just buy injectors ffor an 88 t2??
|
well you might already have them. what year t2 motor do you have?
mike |
87, there not because it has the relay remember https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/unsure.png

if you run low impedance injectors on the stock ecu, it will run lean cause the ecu doesnt have enough power to open them all the way.

I have a set of high impedance injectors that have been cleaned by RC Engineering, PM me if you want them. $150 is what I payed for them and I just used them to get my car started and idle it for a bit, I'd like to get that money back...
They're off of 1revvin7's 88 GTU. |
