Welcome and good luck with getting your Rx-7 back to mint shape.

Snoxxy 04-20-2004 02:06 PM

i paid 1600, but the damn clutch is screwing me over, it is like, once the pedal is on the floor and dont come up, and then, the next moment, it works fine, so weird, any suggestions ?

Its the hydraulics just get a new master and slave. My vert would do the same thing until eventualy it just left me stranded for a few hours while i waited for pressure to come back.

Dude I did that **** for like 2 months when I first bought the car, because I had no money to get it registered so I would cruise around my neigborhood with no plates or insurance not a smart move but it was fun knowing I could get in trouble made driving it that much more fun.

Snoxxy 04-20-2004 02:50 PM

alright, now it is time to save some money for a master and slave, are they hard to put in ???

thx Snoxxy...

i bought my fd over christmas break, drove it from boston to gettysburg (through n.y.c.) with my beater tags on it, and everytime i go home from school, which is alot, i see it sitting in the garage and i just can help but wonder if it is as fast as last time, so on come the beater tags and down the rd i go. i dont live in the city so i am allowed to do this stuff. maybe not, lol

ne_12 04-20-2004 03:42 PM

oh, and still havent registered the damn thing https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683664.gif

LOL!!!!!! why?

Seppuku 04-20-2004 07:56 PM

the hydrualics are straight forward hardest part is getting down to get the bolts inside the car for the master, theyre under the dash. Other then that with the proper extensions it should take 15 minutes at most to put the new stuff in then time to bleed it all out. Youll need a helper to bleed the system just fill the resivor open bleeder screw on slave push pedal down, close screw raise pedal and repeat until you have pressure.
