I'm not good at searching on ebay but i'm trying to get ahold of the adapter for the s4 air filter. if someone could just give me a good search name that would be cool

ok sweet but wouldn't that square restrict air flow

FCmaniac 08-30-2003 12:54 PM

Your stock AFM inlet is square.. that's why its like that.

MazdaEnthused 08-30-2003 01:18 PM

ohhh that helps ... i just bought it with out my parents permision (pay pal) i mean i can always pay them back

RX7 13B 4 UR AZZ 08-30-2003 02:43 PM

Stealing money from your parents = 100 shot dry nos and stock setup

hah dude i have the hks setup in my house i coulda sold it to you cheap. it has the afm adapter, rubber hose, and the hks filter it has barely any miles on it.

MazdaEnthused 08-30-2003 05:36 PM

how cheap were ya thinkin pengaru cause all i'm gonna do is go and by an autozone air filter cause i heard that there is no differance between the HSK and this, besides i didn't know HKS made a intake setup for the T2.

pengaru 08-30-2003 05:42 PM

thats where they are at

i dunno, $40 for filter and adapter?

MazdaEnthused 08-30-2003 08:25 PM

why can't i just mount the filter right on the compressor and would that HKS filter be better then an autozone spectra cause i could use that

you cannot mount the filter right on the compressor because you need the AFM in the loop, at least until you switch to a different engine management that is speed/density and has no need for the AFM.

you can use whatever filter you want

MazdaEnthused 08-30-2003 08:33 PM

but that HKS type is completly open in the front which i think would help but i think i would need some kind of heat sheild because it gets hot under there... how much for just the filter... oh and by the way... i took a ride out to the local JC witney outlet store and wasn't impressed... lots of cheap stuff though

wheres it at?

i'd rather just sell the whole 'kit' as one to someone who still has the stock intake, if you already bought the adapter it's cool i'll just wait til someone else emails me about it :P

MazdaEnthused 08-30-2003 08:45 PM

its in lasalle i went there in my 7 it was a really nice ride for it
