Ok guys,

I realize that I haven't posted in a while on here, but I have a question to ask. I was driving down the highway pushing it a little, not much just normal aggressive driving. When I got off the highway and stopped at the light, all of the lights came on my dash and my engine backfired a couple of times, but didn't die. I went to go and the engine ran really rough whenever I gave it gas, the went back to normal idleling when I let off. I think this could be the MAF or O2 sensor, but i'm not sure. Does anyone have any insight into what this could be? I'm worried sick about my car because it has run like a dream up until tonight. Please help!!!!

Thanks a lot in advance.

check your grounds. when i did my clutch job i forgot to reattach the ground that attaches to teh firewall near hte wiper motor. Car would run fine for a bit.

but when you give her... the car would sput sput sput and then stall out when rpms dropped to idle. The car then ran fine after it was shut off for 20 mins.

I'll have to check the grounds.

yes, it's the original engine w/ 107,000 miles. I don't think I blew a seal because the engine starts just fine. Other thoughts I had were the fuel pump or filter....

Thanks,

All of the idiot lights? If that's the case your alternator is bad. Mine just did the same thing.

I'll check the output of the alternator. i guess this could be simpler than I thought.....
