I have a 1989 turbo 2 with RB turbo back; HKS fuel cut defense, no emissions, and the tb mod...... I put the injectors backwards and so I changed them today and put about 3/4 quart of oil in and started it up it ran for like 3 min's and got to running temp. I brought up the rpms a little and a lot of smoke started coming out, it is white and smells like oil. The thing is the car runs great and sounds great also. What is going on? can too much oil do this?????????????
The car never smoked before!!!!!!!!!!! |
put about 3/4 quart of oil in If no oil went in the plug holes or intake then I don't know what to tell you. |

an oil leak past one of the turbo seals? White smoke usually means a coolant seal, have you checked into this |
I know the diff. in colors that is why I am posting........ It smells like oil, but it dissipates fast...........and it dose not lack any power.... if i let it run it won’t start smoking for like 6 min’s.... It holds an idle and done not jump like it did and I spools great.....
