By the way, this post is also on rx7club forum.

I need help..

I have a completely stock 1987 TII. The people before had a 'new' motor put in. Believe me guys, when i tell you this was the worst job anyone has ever did. I was unable to really test, and push the car and open it up cause it only had 250miles on it, but the car had more problmes than i could ever believe

The problem is the car kicks back hard throught-out all RPMs.

I have a tech that specializes in 1st and 2nd gen RX-7. To start with the car had NA injectors in it, all 4 were non-turbo injectors that were literaily superglued into the harness. Also, there was NO KNOCK SENSOR installed in the car at all. Other stuff they screwed up that are not related to the kickin back are things like screwed up motor mounts, no ground wire, basicly everything that you could think of.

I had my tech put 4 new turbo injectors in, as well as a injector harness since the original one was shot. A knock sensor was also installed. I got the car back and it still kicked. TPS was reset. Boost sensor tested. Everything I and he could think of. But then one thing came to mind, the wastegate. The whole time i have had this car it pushes amazing boost, i have never owned/drivin in an rx-7 before so i just thought it was naturally really really boost-happy. What do you guys think of this theroy,....if the wastegate is sticking the car would push a Sh*tload of boost, (like it is) and then the ECU would turn off one of the rotors to protect the engine. That would cause a kickback as severe as this,....and for god sakes i have tired everything else.....i need help!! what do you guys think. (By they way,.I'm not even mentioning the problems i have had with the cooling system) Someone tell me if its this damn difficult to have/own a workin turbo II, beacuse right now, i have to tell you, i feel like gettin my shotgun out and putting some holes in it.

I'm not sure I understand thew KICK BACK term, but you should be able to drive it EASY and not make any of very little boost. I would double check the timming and look at the ignition side of things. I think a Dyno or chassis roller would be most helpfull here.
