Every time i stomp on it or shift, there's a little bit of play and there's a loud knock when you feel it. Everything in the rear end is stock besides the springs and shocks. the guy who i bought it from said it was a missing bushing, but the guy was a fag because he said it was a clean title in hand, but it's wrecked and i have to file for a lost title. i looked for a missing bushing and couldn't find any. i'm short on money, but then again who isn't, so anything you have to say will help

maybe ripped or torn bushing

LOL Yeah it's the front diff mount and you'll have a time with the install while your under the car you might as well do a snubber on it, to keep from breaking it again... |
3rd'd, front diff mount. It doesn't have to be incredibly difficult, but it is tedious.

i have the same problem and i have an extra one laying around but how bad would it be if i welded a plate to it and just solid mounted it? |
I drilled 3/8 holes through mine and plug welded bar stock in it to strengthen it up, worked great. Still in there to this day.
